This is the back entrance of the church in an old fortified town near the place where I live. It is fascinating to know that people have lived there, walked the streets and visited this very church for centuries.

It makes me feel kind of insignificant. And I like it.

Sometimes I get seduced by photographic filters. For me, a photography does not need to contain very much "material" in order to work. A filter might be enough. I'm a little simple that way.

Close to where I live, there is a place where the Vikings used to live. There is a lot of stones here raised by the Vikings, and Olav the Sacred - who is known for christening Norway - had his kingdom founded here a thousand years ago.
